53 years ago, a natural spring was discovered when water was seen coming out of the rocks above Reynolds Pier. After undertaking tests, the water was confirmed to be of exceptional quality, achieved through nature's natural limestone filtration located on the Reynold's property. Since then, pumps and treatment facilities were put in place to foster general consumption over the years.
Further quality tests by the Scientific Research Council have revealed the high profile of Ochi's spring water, consistently averaging alkaline pH of 8.
Alkaline water has become popular in recent years due to its immense health benefits in the treatment of osteoporosis, cancer, blood pressure and diabetes.
